Customer Advisor - Contact Centre (Fixed Term)

£11.55 per hour

We are looking for Customer Advisors to join our Contact Centre team. This is a fixed term contract 8- 16 hours a week until September 2025, additional hours will be available subject to business needs.   This role will include combination of home working and office based working in our Head office.   As a Customer Advisor in the Contact Centre, you will be the first person that our customers talk to, so it is vital that you make a positive and lasting impression whether on the phones or via email. As a Contact Centre Agent your knowledge of our products and services are key, engaging with our customers by giving them compelling reasons to choose Red Funnel.   You will be working as part of a fast-paced and supportive team. 3 weeks of full training from our experienced colleagues will be provided at our Head Office in Southampton.   Hours will be on a rolling rotation and will require applicants to have flexibility to include shifts at weekends and evenings.    Who are we looking for: * An excellent telephone manner A passion for delivering excellent customer service * Excellent organisational skills A desire to succeed in your role.

Onboard Services Crew (Seasonal)

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our Passenger Operations team for the summer season in the role of On Board Services Crew. This contract is expected to start mid-March and end in October 2025, and is an exciting opportunity for you to work alongside a fantastic team, becoming a vital part of the operation as a member of the ship’s crew! All shifts will predominantly start and finish in Southampton if you live mainland side, and East Cowes if you live on the Isle of Wight. Length of shifts will vary from 9.25 hours to 12.25 hours.  Hours vary from early, late and night shifts. What’s the criteria to apply?   *         Applicants must be aged 18 or over. *         Applicants must be able to get to and from work for very early starts and late finishes. *         Applicants must be willing to obtain an ENG1 medical certificate from an approved practitioner, as this is a pre-employment requisite for the role. This is paid for by the company but becomes the employee’s responsibility to maintain.
