We are currently looking for a Cabin Attendant to join our Hi-Speed passenger service team on a permanent basis. Working under the guidance and instruction of the Passenger Operations Manager and Marine Commanders, you’ll be a part of a small but unique team based on board our Red Jet catamaran vessels, with one of the most beautiful backdrops in the world attending to the needs of our passengers and primarily taking care of their safety. This role involves overseeing the health and safety of all passengers and following protocols to respond in an emergency, as well as mooring duties, managing the boarding and disembarkation of the vessels, deploying the passenger gangway, checking and collecting tickets, offering a seamless food and beverage service, using the public address system to make announcements and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in the cabin. You will ideally have experience within a fast paced and customer-orientated environment, together with excellent communication skills and a friendly manner.
This role is offered on a 39.5 hours per week contract, worked on a 4 days on 4 days off rostered system. This includes bank holidays, and will vary between early, middle and late shifts.

What are the working conditions?
* Based afloat on any of the company’s catamaran fleet (Red Jet’s 6 and 7).
* Shifts will predominantly start and finish in Southampton Terminal 2 but may also start and finish in West Cowes Terminal depending on operational requirements and where the employee resides.
* Island resident employees will be expected to travel via the raptor ferries or stay in booked accommodation overnight to attend certain shifts on time.
* Employee’s may be required to work in other areas of the business, such as on the raptor ferries and Terminal Outlets/ Ticket Office’s.
* A flexible approach to work and working patterns is required.

* Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
* Applicants must be able to get to and from work for very early starts and late finishes.
* Applicants must be willing to obtain an ENG1 medical certificate from an approved practitioner, as this is a pre-employment requisite for the role.
