We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Assistant (HR Services) to join us on a fixed-term basis until October 2025. Supported by friendly and dedicated colleagues in our small, busy HR team, we are ideally looking for candidates with a CIPD Level 3 qualification who would like to put that into practice in an HR environment. You will be a strong administrator, extremely organised with strong attention to detail, possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in Office 365 and able to work cohesively as part of a team. Familiarity with HR software (HRIS) and basic knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices is desirable. You will also possess great people skills with the ability to act as an ambassador for both Red Funnel and the HR Team. As the HR function handles a wide range of sensitive information, you must be able to demonstrate a confidential and professional approach at all times.
No two days will ever be the same with a wide variety of tasks including co-ordination of Employee Relations processes; being the first point of contact for all HR related queries; supporting the HR Advisors with preparation of payroll; attending events such as the HR Clinic or CSR activities; and supporting Red Funnel’s wellbeing initiatives.

The successful full-time candidates will work 40 hours a week Monday to Friday split between our Bugle Street office in Southampton and working remotely.
