Here at Red Funnel, we are looking for a Technical Superintendent to lead our Ferry Engineering Teams. We are looking for a candidate with extensive technical expertise and hands-on experience in managing teams of people and multiple vessels. You will collaborate closely with all departments across the organisation, reporting directly to the Head of Technical.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Second Engineer Unlimited Certificate of Competency is required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a small ship operator / management company
• Experience with any of the following vessel types is highly desirable: Offshore Support / Supply, Dredging, Tugs, Ro-Ro’s, Hi-Speed
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, especially those involving infrastructure and refits.
• Strong communication skills are essential for managing team dynamics and ensuring smooth operations.
